URAC's Health Web Site Standards are designed to promote quality and protect the consumer. URAC is a private, non-profit group with more than 10 years experience creating high standards for health care companies. Accreditation is a rigorous process that measures whether a health Web site meets each of URAC's 53 Accreditation Standards.

BBB
Our site conforms to the standards of the Better Business Bureau's Web Reliability Program. The certification requires meeting certain requirements for information reliability as well as a site visit to review Web policies and procedures.
HONcode
The mission of Health On the Net Foundation (HON) is to guide lay persons or non-medical users and medical practitioners to useful and reliable online medical and health information. HON has set ethical standards for Web sites, and we subscribe to the HONcode principles.

eHealthcare Leadership
In 2007, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee received the Best Design & Best Rich Media Platinum Award, the highest possible achievement in the category of HMO/PPO/Other Insurers.
WWW Health Awards
The World Wide Web Health Awards, organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), recognizes the best health-related Web sites for consumers and professionals with goal of providing a "seal of quality" for electronic health information.
2005 WebAward Competition
The site won the Standard of Excellence WebAward in the 2005 WebAward Competition. The Web Marketing Association, an organization dedicated to advancing excellence on the Internet, founded the annual WebAward Competition to recognize Web site development that combines design with end-user and marketing effectiveness.
